Weekend Report

SAT. I had Mike from NYC along with his Dad and friends,and Skip aboard for todays open boat trip. Started in the deep a caught a few nice fluke and then we lost the drift. A nasty south wind blew up in the afternoon and ruined the deep water bite, so I tried the shallow water and it was loaded with fluke. The last drift went for one mile, over thirty minutes. Skip was pulling fish as soon as he hit the bottom. A real nice crew and a good fun day. SUN. Back to the deep water and less then ideal conditions. The drift was a little fast but we toughed it out for a nice pick at the big fluke. Roger's 7lber. beat out Rebecca's 6 1/2 and Tom's 6 to win the pool. Other 4 and 5lbers., everyone went home with fillets.
