One More Time

We had a pretty productive week getting some chores done, so we got out again on the Angler. The ocean was very nice despite all the east wind this week. It was cold and raw without the sunshine but the wind was very lite all day. The fishing was a slow pick. A few nice big ling, some blackfish and Evelyn's lone keeper cod that won the pool. The good bite we had all winter is starting to back off, and soon the inshore grounds will come alive as spring approaches. Tons of sand eels and mackeral and who knows what else in Sandy Hook Channel on the way home. Think spring...it won't be long now.
