Happy Times
In the early days of WW II, the German U-boats operated freely in the Atlantic sinking tons of Allied shipping. Until the invention of the Asdic scanner and the breaking of the Enigma code they were virtually unopposed, calling this the "Happy Time". Well we may have had our "happy time" as Friday's Nor'easter shut down the month long bite of big fluke. Saturday was a struggle just to get a few dinners as even the shorts didn't bite. Sunday showed signs of improvement as the short action picked up and we managed a fillet bag for everyone with the biggest at 5lbs.
