Pickin' Away

I was surprised to see ten boats out on the grounds Sunday. The relentless NE winds of last week were still blowing a steady fifteen knots and it wasn't all that nice. A few shorts and some nice ones but it still seems to be too warm. Monday all the spots were covered again and it was like a summer day out there, warm and calm. Fishing remained a slow pick. I don't expect it to get any better until after the full moon and the water temps drop a little.
