Spring Bass Bite

The ocean run for the boats lasted three days, but I hear the Raritan bite is on big time. We hit the back waters yesterday a little later then I would have liked and had a nice bite going on right away and as usual in the spring, it was over by 8am. A few double headers and nicer fish up to twenty-four inches. Looks like rough weather coming in for a few days and we will try the local surf soon, lots of little bass around down this way.
