Weekend Fishing

Friday afternoon there was some severe weather and as I am writing this now, there is a storm raging outside. In between this was a beautiful weekend. Saturday was a tough day for St. Pete, Frankie, Jerry, John the Roaster, Ryan and Ken. I fished in the deep and it was tough with the strong current but we did land a few nice ones. It seemed that when we did get on them they would shake off half way up. Sunday was  back to normal. Not red hot fishing but a pick at quality fish. Many four to five pounders. At times we used as much as twelve ounces and other times as little as four. Everyone went home with a nice fillet bag. Evelyn had the biggest of the weekend, a six pounder. Big MO is still out there.
