Weekend Report
Darren and his crew were aboard Saturday looking for striped bass. The morning tide produced two 18lb. bass, one short and some missed bites. When the tide turned fishing slowed,so we tried for blackfish and found a few nice ones. Sunday we spent the first hour bass fishing and Ken landed a 21lber. before we headed to the blackfish grounds. The bite was pretty good with close to one hundred blackfish landed, only keeping a few for dinner. Nothing over five pounds yet, but plenty of good action. Go fishing now, because as Ken says "we will be shoveling snow before you know it."
