Windy Tuesday

And windy it was, with gusts to thirty knots all day long. Wind against the tide when we arrived at the grounds made for some ugly conditions but when the tide changed things came together and the blackfish started to bite. Ken, Russ, St. Pete, Jerry, Joe N., and Don started to fill the cooler with our best catch of keeper sized fish to date, with many more released.  We had a special treat in the morning, when an American Bald Eagle soared over the boat, the first time I have ever seen this while out fishing in the waters around NYC.
