Trout Fishing

One of the most rewarding feats in fishing is finding new productive fishing spots. One of the most frustrating is scouting for new spots and finding good looking water and catching nothing. I worked over some holes on the Toms River the other morning and couldn't buy a bite. When the strike indicator finally went under, I was so surprised, I missed the bite. The next day, I headed to my local pickerel spots thinking they would be more active after the recent warm spell and covered a lot of ground for just a couple of dinks. I hope the ocean fishing is better.
