We fished Big John's annual charter aboard the Mary M III yesterday. Onboard were Roger, Mike, Cathy and some blackfish sharpies from Sheepshead Bay. It was a beautify calm day and many boats were out. The inlet looked like a summer weekend. We fished not far from the lighthouse and had action all day. Some big fish were landed and some were lost and everyone had plenty of meat to go home with. We even had a visit from a playful humpback whale only two miles off the beach. A good time with some old friends.
