Fishing Report

Despite what you have been hearing, this has been a poor blackfish season since "opening day."  They bit well in September and October, but other then the slammer white crab bite we had down here last week, this fishing is not showing much promise. Yesterday, we worked some local spots south of the inlet and it was a bust. Today, I tried from land, and it seems like the blackfish left the shallows. After that, we tried walking the beach casting lures but we never had a bite on an empty beach for a nice day. All one can do is keep on trying.
