Snow Day

I hear there is a lot of snow north of the Driscoll bridge. It just started snowing here, and if I tried hard, there might be enough to make a snow ball. Yesterday it was 70 degrees, and it made you feel like making a few casts. We did the next best thing, and took a ride to Tackle Direct to check out all the new fishing gear. On the way home, we realized the Bass Pro Shop was on the way and we made a stop there. We will be going back soon as you need a day to see the whole place. They have lots of cool antique hunting and fishing gear on display, as well as all the local salt water fish and waterfowl. It was the first time I ever saw a taxidermy mount of a ling! A pretty cool place to spend a day this time of year to shake off cabin fever.
